About
I’m Sara and this is a blog mostly about my life. I got married June 13, 2009 to a wonderful man named Tim. About two months later we got pregnant with our first child. We have decided to name him Levi Ross and are expecting him in 2-5 weeks!!!
We live in a two-bedroom apartment, from which Tim works designing websites, and go to the church of Calvary Chapel. Tim has a cat, which I do not claim as my own. She is very pretty and super annoying- goes by Stella. I want a puppy. We live within 5-30 minutes of most all of our intermediate family, which is really nice considering I love spending time with our families.
My long term goals are to get a house (4-bedroom preferably), go to art school, publish my poetry book, and be a stay at home mom! If I could be a stay at home mom, I would cook all the time, work on art projects, and of course spend a lot of time with my family.
Tim and I would like to have one more child after Levi and we really would like to have a girl, ideally two years younger than Levi. We would name her Alice Isabella and we would have tea parties. However, if our second child should also be a boy, I have no idea what we would name him and I think we would quit reproducing afterward any way. I’d say that about sums it up right now…

The Good Person Test

So, this is a continuation of my last post, in response to the life lesson number five: Many churches today are filled with false converts- because people aren’t hearing and realizing what they need to. First of all, about 80% of America claims Christianity- and many people will use this in a message of hope. More >

So it’s been a while… over a year, actually. I have to apologize- I have been busy and have several great excuses as to why I stopped blogging for so long. But I will spare you those. To fill in the absent year, here are some major things that happened: My husband and I bought More >
Baby Foods, Baby Developements, Monthly Shots, and Teething (oh my!)
about 1 year ago - 3 comments
Last week Levi had a few shots at the doctor’s. We decided to split his shots up, which means we’ll have to go monthly now. I know that I am the adult, and I should know that the doctor is helping him, but I still feel like the doctor is the bad guy for giving More >

I apologize (again, and again, and again) for taking so long to blog. Apparently, I’m no good at keeping up with this sort of thing. However, I still try. Wisconsin was BEAUTIFUL! It was so refreshing to go home and see my family and be in a state that is just filled with God’s natural More >
Moms, Be ENCOURAGED
about 1 year ago - No comments
I wanted to share this because I’ve found it encouraging to myself, as a mother. There are days when I, being busy with the constant care-taking of my son (who of late doesn’t nap much at all during the day, IF at all) think, “Is all I am ever going to do is clean, change More >

I know what you’re thinking, another wedding? Aren’t they done with all the weddings yet? And the answer is no, we have three more this year- that I know of. That makes six weddings in six months for us- dude! You know, they say we are in a baby boom right now, so I guess More >
Good-by Nursing- I will miss you, Hello Pumping and Welcome Sleep!
about 1 year ago - 2 comments
Levi’s most exciting and latest development (since I last blogged): giggling! He talks and giggles so much it is beautiful! He actually has giggled in his sleep a few times! Emails I get through baby companies (about his weekly developments) say that he should be reaching for objects now, but he seems content just to More >
Pampers, Cars, Houses, and MORE Weddings!
about 1 year ago - 4 comments
I tried the Pampers Diapers and at first look, I thought, “These are too thin to hold anything in.” Then I used them and I realized that the thinness is more comfortable for baby, and they are very absorbent- much more so than they look. However, I did have one leak with them- which isn’t More >
First Anniversary
about 1 year ago - No comments
So, its been a while… and I’m going to quit apologizing every time it has been. Why? I’m a mom and have higher commitments now. Commitments that don’t sleep- almost at all during the day. Commitments that remind me frequently they need to eat every half hour, and be burped every time after that… oh More >
Mother’s Day
about 1 year ago - No comments
I know, I am obviously behind since I am just now telling you about my first Mother’s Day! We didn’t do much because we had only been home from the hospital for three days and really couldn’t and didn’t want to go out. So, Tim bought me a rose and a waffle maker (at my More >
