Last week Levi had a few shots at the doctor’s. We decided to split his shots up, which means we’ll have to go monthly now. I know that I am the adult, and I should know that the doctor is helping him, but I still feel like the doctor is the bad guy for giving More >

Levi’s most exciting and latest development (since I last blogged): giggling! He talks and giggles so much it is beautiful! He actually has giggled in his sleep a few times! Emails I get through baby companies (about his weekly developments) say that he should be reaching for objects now, but he seems content just to More >

So, below is a copy of my resignation letter to my current place of employment. Some names and places have been altered for the protection of those involved. By the way, my boss is fully aware of my plans, but he needed something in writing just to have on file. So I had fun More >

My husband, Tim, and I are expecting our first child! He is a little boy named Levi! I’m about 2 weeks from term and 5 weeks from the due date (May 8). Although entirely unplanned (how many children aren’t?), my husband and I are very excited and can’t wait for these last couple of weeks More >

Hi Sara,
Hope this note finds you well. I also wanted to say what a fabulous website!!! I really enjoyed going through it, especially the Moms, Be ENCOURAGED post. Being a first time mother, I am constantly searching for valuable information to use with my 2 year old from the blogosphere community. It is always neat to hear other mother’s/father’s perspectives. As a parent, I realize that I do not have all the answers and I can learn something from everyone who is sharing. Isn’t being a parent so rewarding!!!
I also wanted to introduce myself to you. I am the editor-in-chief for BabySignLanguage.com, a new site that has lots of helpful information on how parents can teach their kids Baby Sign Language. Baby Sign Language is a cool way for parents to communicate with their children before their children can actually speak. It has been shown to boost development as well.
Our site full of free resources including free videos (http://www.babysignlanguage.com/dictionary/m/mommy/); free flash cards (http://www.babysignlanguage.com/flash-cards/); and free tutorials. Feel free to check it our for yourself, visit babysignlanguage.com and let me know what you think.
I wanted to see if you would be interested in helping us spread the word about exactly what Baby Sign Language is all about. We would love to do an guest post on Baby Sign Language for your blog. Not sure if you even allow guest posts, but thought I’d ask and see. I would write an exclusive article(not published anywhere else) in exchange for a link to our site at the end of the article. Here are some topics that I thought your readers would enjoy from our baby sign language expert:

Hi I love your site, I just happened to come across it while searching for mommy blogs. I love your “Moms, Be ENCOURAGED” Post. I am the mother of spontaneous triplets plus one and I have been thanking God every day for my beautiful, healthy girls. This post has opened my eyes and made my day. I have been having really tough days lately and its good to read something like this once in a while especially while having one of those days. With that being said I was wondering if you would be willing to help me out. I have several websites dedicated to helping parents out there, my newest is http://www.50000babynames.com/blog and on that blog I have made a free baby widget. This widget helps parents to be pick a perfect baby name for their unborn child. I am a SAHM but I want to help other parents out there as I was helped so much when my triplets were younger. They are only three now, but a handful…So if you are interested in seeing this widget and would like to use it on your site please go here…http://www.50000babynames.com/get-widget I would greatly appreciate it if you could put it on your sidebar or blog about it. Thank you so much for your time, I will continue to come back and read your posts. Thanks again!
